London Underground Advertising
Five million journeys a day, and your audience is standing still for 13 to 21 minutes of them. From Tube Car Panels across all 11 lines to platform posters, escalator runs and full station takeovers, we plan and buy Underground campaigns with real rates on the table, and pair them with our AdVans and AdBikes so your brand follows the audience back above ground.

The Formats And The Costs, Together
Most Underground pricing hides behind "POA". Here is ours: what each format looks like and what it costs, side by side. All rates ex VAT per 2-week cycle; paper formats carry print on top, digital formats do not.
Tube Car Panels
Inside the carriages, all 11 lines, ~2.16M impacts per pack per 2 weeks
Platform & Corridor Posters
Eye-level posters where passengers wait and walk
Cross-Track Posters
Faces the platform across the tracks, read for the whole wait
Digital Screens
Full motion screens through the station, artwork swaps free
Escalator Formats
Panels in sequence for the full 20-30 second escalator ride
Gateways & Station Takeovers
Above the ticket gates, or every surface in the station at once
Flagship central station takeovers run to £50k and beyond, priced bespoke. Four-week campaigns are exactly double the 2-week media, with print a one-off.
Tube Car Panels: One Buy, All 11 Lines
583 panels per pack
Sold in packs of 583 panels spread across the whole network, inside the carriages where passengers sit and stand. One design covers the pack; more packs buy a bigger share of voice.
~2.16M impacts per 2 weeks
Each pack delivers an estimated 2.16 million impacts per 2-week cycle, with the longest dwell time on the network: 13 to 21 minutes per journey, no competing screens.
£6,413 + £1,365 print
Media from £6,413 per pack per 2 weeks, print a one-off £1,365 per pack. Four weeks is exactly double the media with no extra print, so longer runs work harder.
"Can I Advertise On One Line?" Honestly: Mostly No
This is the question every Tube advertiser asks, and the industry answer is usually vaguer than it should be. The truth: Tube Car Panels are general distribution across all 11 lines and cannot be pinned to one. Station formats, from cross-tracks to escalator panels, are bought by station or zone, never by line.
So when a brand wants "the Jubilee line", we build it the honest way: booking that line's key stations so the coverage follows the route. Central interchanges are shared, which means a station buy also reaches passengers from every other line passing through.
The one exception is the Elizabeth line, which is sold as its own complete estate. Because of that, a true single-line takeover is possible there, and we have done it: we ran the Velo x McLaren Underground campaign across the Elizabeth line during F1 week.
See the Elizabeth line takeover case study, or how a book launch took 48 digital surfaces across Canary Wharf and Farringdon.
